About the Speaker

Shri Sanjai Kumar is the Chairman and Managing Director of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) under the Ministry of Railways. RailTel is one of India's largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers, owning an Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) network alongside the railway tracks, connecting over 6,000 railway stations across India.

Under his leadership, RailTel has expanded its mandate beyond telecom infrastructure to become a key digital services provider - delivering broadband, data centre services, and AI-enabled solutions to railways, governments, and enterprises. His work is central to India's ambition to build AI-ready connectivity infrastructure across the country.
